THE STORY OF VULKAN

The concept of Vulkan Steel Manufacturing was introduced as a simple idea: the expansion of parent company Industrial Maintenance, Incorporated's fabrication abilities. Founded in 1986, Industrial Maintenance, Inc. began as a small group of skilled millwrights and evolved into what is now a full-fledged enterprise that offers engineering, fabrication, and field installation/maintenance services. But our vision to implement innovation and resource growth is ever-present, and the opportunity to broaden the capabilities of IMI's fabrication division became apparent after discussion and analysis of the growing needs of our customer base.

In response, Vulkan Steel Manufacturing was born. Housed in a separate 45,000 square foot facility, Vulkan is aiming to acquire the most state-of-the-art equipment on the market, but is focused on a practical approach to workflow, allowing for increased efficiency on the shop floor. With a management team that has decades of combined experience in the metal fabrication world, Vulkan Steel Manufacturing has a clear mission--to be unlike any other shop in our region in every respect. We understand the necessity for strict on-time delivery and are committed to doing everything we have to do to get the job done right the first time, every time, ON time. We also understand the need for outstanding quality. We will never send anything to a customer that is nothing less than superior quality--both structurally and aesthetically. Our rates are highly competitive. And our word is golden. Vulkan Steel Manufacturing exists to satisfy our customers on a consistent basis, and to maintain an exceedingly positive environment for our employees.

Our company is also unique in the respect that we can work with our parent company to provide a full-circle approach to supplying our customers with the services they may need from start to finish: our engineers can develop or augment your product, our fabricators can fully fabricate and assemble it, and our millwrights can perform field installation and maintenance. Vulkan Steel Manufacturing is your one-stop shop for metalwork.
